The space is beautiful and airy with the ability to transform it to whatever your heart desires or keep it as-is. The team at Lair are a husband/wife duo that are incredibly professional and passionate about creating intentional experiences. Not only do they have this awesome space for you to book, but they curate occasional events that bring community together. It's so obvious that everything they do is intentional and well-thought out! 10/10!

I recently had the pleasure of having a photoshoot at Lair the Studio, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Marjanne, one of the most talented photographers in Virginia, along with her husband, has created a truly remarkable space. Their dedication and attention to detail in crafting the studio are evident, reflecting a blend of creativity and professionalism. During the photoshoot, Marjanne's artistic vision and guidance were truly remarkable. Despite my initial uncertainty about poses, she expertly directed the session, resulting in breathtaking images. The studio itself exudes cleanliness and a delightful aroma, adding to the overall ambiance… Their combined talent, coupled with their warm and welcoming demeanor, made the entire experience comfortable and enjoyable. I am already looking forward to future sessions at Lair the studio, including my upcoming birthday shoot. Without hesitation, I highly recommend Marjanne and her studio to anyone in search of top-notch quality and a delightful photography experience.

This studio is what the DMV has been craving!! Having a flexible studio space to rent that is aesthetically pleasing is something I have searched for for years in our community. Aside from the stunning and unique space, having a one-of-a-kind director CEO is something not many are able to experience easily. I am so grateful for Lair's presence and creative direction. I would highly recommend this space. I felt extremely comfortable at my brand shoot and Marjanne fully directed the photoshoot and was quickly able to pin point my "good angles" and give me posing direction that aligned with my brand mission for content (which is an area photographers I have used in the past have lacked in). You will not regret booking a service here, they are hybrid and a jack of all trades in the fullest form.
